Kevin Lopuck has been teaching at Lord Selkirk Regional Comprehensive Secondary School in Selkirk, Manitoba since May of 2001. In that time, he has taught Grade 9 Social Studies, Grade 10 Geographic Issues, Grade 10 American History, Grade 11 Canadian History, Grade 12 Global Issues: Citizenship and Sustainability, and Grade 12 History of Western Civilization. He has also taught in the French Immersion program where he is responsible for teaching social studies courses. Kevin obtained his Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Manitoba in 2001 and completed his Master’s Degree in Education with a focus on curriculum studies in 2018. His thesis was a qualitative, phenomenological work focused on his implementation of the province of Manitoba’s grade 12 Global Issues: Citizenship and Sustainability curriculum. Kevin lives in Winnipeg with his wife, Megan, daughter Kennedy, and their dog Maya.
