Gareth Neufeld

Gareth Neufeld was a teacher and school administrator for thirty-five years, whose primary curriculum areas were Social Studies and German in middle and senior high schools. He served on numerous Manitoba Education
curriculum development teams in both subject areas, including the creation of Social Studies curricular materials for the English/German Bilingual Programme. During the last fifteen years of his educational career, one of his focusses was to help establish and shape Canada’s involvement in the UNESCO Associated Schools Network, which now comprises more than 100 schools in Canada, and over 11,000 schools world-wide. After retirement, Gareth served as consultant with the Manitoba School Improvement Project for five years.
