The Heimattreue Deutsche Jugend (HDJ) was a German youth association that espoused neo-Nazi beliefs and provided military drills and ideological training to children and young people in Germany. It was founded in 1990 as a registered association and banned in 2009. According to German authorities, there were personnel continuities between the HDJ and another organization, the Wiking-Jugend, or Viking Youth, which was banned in 1994.
