Afghan political party and militia originally founded by Gulbuddin Hekmatyar in 1976. They seek to emulate the Muslim Brotherhood and unify Afghanistan as an Islamic State and claimed responsibility for several attacks against Coalition forces throughout the War in Afghanistan.
