Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, otherwise known as the Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionaries de Colombia are Marxist-Leninist revolutionaries involved in the Colombian conflict since 1964. On June 27th, 2017, FARC ceased to be an armed group following a ceasefire and peace deal with the Colombian government. In 2019 prominent members announced they were returning to the fight, alleging that the government did not respect the peace agreements.
