Prof. Lloyd Kornelsen is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Education and Executive Director (Acting) of Global College at the University of Winnipeg (UW). In 2020, he was awarded UW’s Clifford J. Robson Memorial Award for teaching excellence. Lloyd’s research interests derive from 25 years of teaching high school Social Studies, his participation in provincial curriculum development initiatives, and current work with Social Studies teachers. Lloyd authored the book, Stories of transformation: Memories of a global citizenship practicum and co-edited the book, Teaching global citizenship: A Canadian perspective.
